This is a pivotal hire for a digital asset exchange startup. The company is not looking to simply fill a vacancy; they are seeking the right individual — someone with a genuinely entrepreneurial mindset and an established network across HNWIs, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors in the UAE and Europe. The successful candidate will view this as a founder-style opportunity, not a conventional sales leadership role.
The business operates as a lean but proven digital asset exchange. Base salaries are intentionally modest, but the upside is substantial. By way of example, the company currently works with an external agent managing just three clients. Those clients trade approximately €7M per month, generating around €161k in net profit. One-third of that margin is paid directly to the agent — approximately €53–54k per month (~230,000 AED). Monthly payouts are capped at €100k (~430,000 AED), yet within this model the right individual can realistically earn several million per year.

A regulated European digital asset exchange, supervised by the Bank of Spain, and registered in the US as an MSB (MTL) with FinCEN
Global payment rails supported by Tier-1 banking and liquidity providers
An internal team of 25+ professionals across legal, compliance, risk, operations, and technology
A global network enabling crypto ↔ fiat and fiat ↔ fiat flows across nearly all major markets
In just four years, the company has grown to serve over 50 B2B clients and has built the business entirely self-funded, with a strong balance sheet and long runway secured by reserves. The next phase of growth — and the reason this role is so critical — is the creation of a world-class sales function that can materially accelerate revenue and scale the platform.
The key differentiator is ownership and upside. While large, well-known exchanges can offer brand recognition, this digital asset exchange offers direct participation in the value created. The ideal candidate will not be another executive operating within a large corporate structure, but an entrepreneurial sales leader motivated by building, owning, and sharing in the rewards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, founder-minded sales leader with deep relationships in institutional crypto and financial markets. They are equally comfortable winning business personally and building a high-performing sales organisation over time.
Background & Experience
8–15+ years in sales, business development, or revenue leadership within digital assets, crypto exchanges, OTC desks, prime brokerage, or related financial services
Proven track record of closing and managing relationships with HNWIs, Family Offices, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or institutional investors
Strong existing network across the UAE and Europe, with demonstrable ability to monetise relationships quickly
Experience operating in regulated environments and working closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams
Commercial & Leadership Capabilities
Hands-on sales leader who leads from the front and is comfortable being an individual contributor in the early stages
Ability to design and scale a sales strategy, including pricing, incentives, partner models, and distribution channels
Strong understanding of crypto market structure, liquidity, payments, and fiat on/off-ramps
Data-driven, commercially rigorous, and highly accountable for revenue outcomes
Mindset & Personal Attributes
Entrepreneurial, ownership-driven, and motivated by upside rather than fixed compensation
Comfortable with ambiguity, lean structures, and building processes from scratch
Highly credible with senior counterparties and able to operate at C-suite and principal level
Long-term mindset aligned with building enterprise value, not short-term wins
